So I have been watching American idol and have been repeatedly upset by the way America has been voting. I was however satisfied with the results last night when soul Singer Joshua was voted off. To me he was tiresome to listen to. He is talented but definitely not my speed of listing. Jessica to me is too current for me. She sounds too much like everyone else but I think she will win. And as for Phillip I can’t stand him. He looks like he is on drugs when he sings. His hand is always rubbing his leg and his Pitts and every song he sings sounds the same. Bland and boring. I personally liked colton and Hollie but they are not in the race any longer so I will have to back jessica. It was definitely an interesting season with many disappointments. Good luck to the both of the finalists. Who do you think should win?

Gas prices.
So i was reading on the fox news app that President Obama says there is no way to cut gas prices quickly. He went on to say that the plans he has introduced with more fuel efficient cars getting around 55 MPG. By the year 2025 will save the average American family 6,000 dollars. He continues to say things will be better in the long run. I’m all for fuel efficiency and would consider getting a car that is a lot better on gas than my v8 is however in the here and now I am not able to do so. Nor is more than half of the nation. I don’t wish to stop the production of these cars because they are a great idea but I want to know how we are supposed to survive until 2025. President Obama have you noticed that that is still 12 years away. A lot can happen in those twelve years. Millions of pple are struggling now. They aren’t looking 12 years into the future they are looking at how can we survive to see tomorrow. How can I keep a roof over my children’s head and food in their bellies. With the rising gas prices, food cost goes up. Of course it is too much to ask for a raise just so you can stay above the waves. And companies like Walmart continue to hire thounsands of pple on top of the ones they already have. Those pple have no benefits because they are part time and they continue to cut hours. I know this because I work at Walmart. President Obama, if you want to live in the white house another four years then the best thing you could do is actually help the people that you say you care about. Not just focus on the long run but also look at what can help now.

I cant help but feel so good about the country I live in. I know that we are not perfect and our leaders may not be the greatest, but in my opinion we are still the greatest nation the world has ever known. We have the most beautiful landscapes in the world. I mean look at our beaches and our national parks. I have been to many of the states and I love just about every one of them. Not one state really looks like the other. My favorite places have to be in the mountains and by the beach. I love the opportunity’s that this nation offers. I love the history that this nation has being as young as it is. As a nation we have gone through so much hardships only to come out on top stronger than before. We are facing yet another hardship, and i believe that it is only a matter of time before we find that solution we are seeking, to rise once again to the top of the mountain. Americans are strong people and will never accept defeat. We will rise to any challenge and show the world that we are still the best. We will show the world that we are the strongest. We will show the world that we have the will, desire, determination, and strength to conquer anything that stands in the way of our moving forward in an ever changing era. We will show the world that this is AMERICA
